On this page you can find answers to the most common questions about the house, the service and the equipment. If you don’t find what you are looking for, please don’t hesitate in contacting us.
- ¿How many persons can stay at the house?
The house sleeps 8 persons offering also an additional sleeping place on a sofa bed in the studio, meaning that there can sleep up to 9 persons. This is charged additionally to the renting cost of the house.
- Is the house equipped with heating?
The house is equipped with central heating via radiators and also with a fireplace for which we provide you with fire wood if you wish (not included in the renting cost).
- Is the house equipped with air condition?
The house is not equipped with air condition. Nevertheless and due to the situation of Castellet in the mountain and close to the reservoir the temperature during summer nights uses to be comfortable. Furthermore, the architecture of the house helps to keep the house fresh, especially on the ground floor. Therefore air condition is usually not necessary.
- When can we do the check-in on the first day and when do we have to check out on the last day of our stay?
You can do the check-in from 16:00 and you have to check out before 11:00. On weekend stays you can do the check-out until 18:00 if you wish. In that case please advise in advance.
- Is the house accesible by car?
Although Castellet is a pedestrian area, you can park your car 24/7 next to the entrance of the house. We will show you how to arrive.
- Is smoking allowed?
The house is equipped with a fire alarm, therefore it is not allowed to smoke inside the house. Nevertheless, you can smoke in the patio.
- Can I enjoy my holidays with my pet?
Yes, we are pet friendly. A cleaning fee is charged additionally to the renting cost of the house. Please advise in advance.
- The renting includes towels and bedlinen?
Yes, you will find towels, bedlinen, duvets and other elements which are included in the renting of the house.
- Is there a hairdryer?
Yes, we have a hairdryer at your disposal. Nevertheless, we do not offer shower gel, shampoo or similar.
- Which appliances and gadgets will I find in the kitchen?
The kitchen is equipped with state-of-the art appliances appropriate for a house of this dimensión: fridge/freezer with ice cube and water dispenser, induction hob, oven, microwave oven, dishwasher and washing machine (soaps at your disposal). The water is filtered by a RO system (reverse osmosis). Apart from that you can also find all necessary gadgets for preparing your meals including hand blender, toaster, citrus squeezer, Nespresso coffee machine and Italian coffee maker.
- Are there any items for my baby?
For our youngest customers there is highchair and a foldable cot.
- Are there any cleaning products or do we have to bring them?
There are products and gadgets for washing the dishes both by hand and in the dishwasher. You will also find soap for the washing machine.
- Is there firewood for the fireplace? And charcoal for the barbecue?
We supply you with the quantity of firewood agreed beforehand. The quantity will be charged additionally at cost price. We do not supply you with charcoal for the barbecue.
- Are there any games?
Yes, we have a selection of games for both children and adults.
- Is there a TV?
Yes, there is a TV and a DVD player.
- Is the house connected to internet?
Yes, the house is equipped with internet and you can connect via Wifi.
- Can we order breakfast?
We do not offer breakfast or any other type of dishes. Nevertheless, there is a restaurant in the village which can be reached in about 3 minutes on foot and if you wish you can contact a local cook for ordering food or cooking at the house.
- Which services can we find close to the house?
Once you have booked you will receive a link showing a map including all the important services you may need during your stay.
